Coming down the stairs lost in thoughts I barged into people. This absent mindedness was not a character flaw of mine, but actually started in the job interview from which I walked out midway for no apparent reason- felt uneasy and left the room. The interview was for a new job I had applied few weeks back, and its result was staring me in the face. Not getting the job wasn't the main issue; my major concern was to find the reason that triggered my falling down the slipper slop of introspection which culminated into me leaving the interview midway. “Has The King of Good Times lost his Midas touch?” At age 28 Vijay took control of United Breweries Ltd (UB Group) on the demise of his father Vittal Mallya, who lost his life to heart attack in 1983. Kapil had entered the age when opportunities seemed endless, restriction; playing safe and can’t do were mere words used by older generation or found in dictionaries. Life for him was a competitive adversary that threw obstacle after obstacle so that he was able to unravel the glorious prospects hidden in them.
