I saw a lamenting man once; on inquiring he said, “My life is tough”

I said, “Observe and adapt.”

He looked at me in confusion and said, “No one is trustworthy.”

I said, “Watch the wave, and learn to merge into the whole despite being different.”

He thought for a moment, and said, “Will my dreams be fulfilled?”

I said, “Look at the wheel, and learn to keep churning despite fully understanding that it will disintegrate in time.”

He quietened.

I laid my hand on his shoulder and said, “Just move forward without giving excuses.”
